Ubuntu ili Linux Mint?

Zdravo svima, nisam se registrovao, ali dobar je forum, pozdrav svima. Trenutno koristim ubuntu 15.10 i zadovoljan sam. Koristio sam mnoge druge distro-e, jedino sam mint nekako najmanje koristio. Na prvu loptu mi je bio ruzan, nemam neku dubinsku zamerku.

Pa sad, ne bih da bezim od ubuntu, sjajan sistem, ali sta je to bolje kod minta. Ako bi mi preporucili.

Što se tiče tvog pitanja, jedna od glavnih razlika je što LinuxMint koristi svoj Cinnamon okruženje dok ubuntu koristi Unity oba su zanovana na Gnome Shell iliti GTK libovima. Od ostalih karekteristika je manje više kozmetičke prirode, ispod haube je to maltene isto (uz neke sitnije modifikacije). Najbolj da instaliraš i jedan i drugi i paralelno ih koristiš par dana i presudiš koji ti bolje leži.

Hvala Vladimire, pretpostavljao sam da je to, malo kozmetika i grafika. Nikako ne volim duo install, ne znam, neka fobija iz detinjstva. Za sad cu da ostanem na ubuntu. Nekako je drustvo zamrlo, nista se ne desava, cekamo da izadje 16.04 LTS pa propadoh, alfa tek oko nove godine. Pa reko da pitam nesto dok ne iznikne nesto vredno instaliranja. U svakom slucaju dobar ovaj vas forum. Nisam se regovao, jer ne volim to popunjavanje polja. :slight_smile: samo to, kad stignem… inace… hepy nju jirrrrr :wink:

Pored ovoga što je @Vladimir napisao, bitna razlika između Minta i Ubuntua je ta što Mint ne prikuplja apsolutno nikakve podatke o korisniku i njegovim aktivnostima na svom računaru! Posto sam i sam pocetnik u svetu linux-a i probao Ubuntu, a i Mint ( Rosa ) mogu da preporucim Mint pre Ubuntu jer je okruzenje mnogo jednostavnije ( priblizniji Windowsu ) pa je koriscenje lako i jednostavno.

Preporucio bi ti mint ako si pocetnik, a ubuntu ako drzis neke servere i ako si klasican korisnik. Medjutim ako imas malo memorije ne bi ti preporucio ubuntu koji ima desktop okruzenje juniti ili unity, on je vrlo zahtevan, a mozda mint xfce ili mate u najgorem slucaju ako imas malo memorije i pocetnik si, a mozes i elementary os i on je dobar u tom slucaju, a poceca na mac os. To je moje misljenje, a znam da ti se mint nedopada mnogo.
